Wagtail

The wagtail’s pose feels right—mid-stride, tail fanned, head alert. The light on the grey back and white belly is soft but clear, and the blurred ground lets the bird hold the frame without distraction. You’ve got the motion in the legs and tail, and the black bib stands out cleanly.

Robert, the ground looks damp—was this near water or a muddy patch? I like how the light catches the edge of the wing feathers.
