My name is Damian Kwasek. Pictures circulating on various websites on the net under the pseudonym FotoDam are my authorship. I come from a small town of Siemie? located in the Lublin province, the poviat of Pszczyna, near the rivers Piwonia and Ty?mienica. There are over 800ha of breeding ponds bordered by the famous bird sanctuary which is the \"Ty?mienica Valley\" belonging to the European ecological network \"Natura 2000\". Thanks to this situation, I have the opportunity to photograph common birds and those rarely found in our country, which to my surprise are not included in the Polish publicly available informers, books or nature magazines. I am going to change it and I can complement the knowledge about the occurrence of rare \"very rare\" animal species, for example through the Nature magazine Polska, published by the LOP, with which I have the pleasure to cooperate. Already as a few years old boy I did not play football, but all the days I spent in the wild areas adjacent to Siemie?. I watched all possible animals, and everything that moves within my sight. I have been learning and still learning to recognize species encountered in my village, and that I feel like a fish in the water in the bosom of nature, so it remains to this day. I can not imagine spending free time in front of the TV, because every free moment, which I have very little, I use to interact with nature and photographing it.
I have been taking photographs of nature for over a dozen years, beginning my adventure with cameras for film. In 2005, I decided to start shooting nature in the pictures and for this purpose I acquired the first Kodak P880 digital camera, but it was obvious that my requirements grew and after a short time I switched to DSLRs from the cheapest to amateur applications. This is how my adventure with nature photography began. From 2011 to 2014 I had a break, after which I bought back the equipment and started to continue what I love to do the most. As soon as time permits, I do not part with the camera. Excursions to the bosom of nature with equipment in a backpack and thoughts full of ideas, this is my adventure \"passion\". Nature is something beautiful and very difficult to describe, it always teaches us something new. I always approach her with admiration and respect. I will record her beauty on the camera\'s tabs until I have enough health and strength.
