Чернохвостый олень-Mule deer- (Odocoileus hemionus) — вид оленя обитающего на западе Северной Америки.
Средних размеров олень, с массой тела у самцов 45—150 кг, у самок 43—75 кг.
Уши длинные, до 25 см, напоминают уши мула, за что он и получил своё англоязычное имя «Mule Deer».
Бэдлендс -Badlands национальный парк, Южная Дакота, США.
