When a Japanese beetle has finished feeding on a leaf (over 200 plants listed), all that's left is a skeleton of veins. This insect has the capacity to considerably reduce the proportion of cultivable plants, which can lead to considerable economic losses. In addition, the larvae also attack lawns, which can cause considerable damage to golf courses and private property.
