Гора Нос

Нос-гора — это южная оконечность хребта Карамурун-тау.

Она расположена в 2,5 километрах от села Кондауровка на правом берегу реки Сакмары в районе трассы Кувандык-Саракташ.

Тюркское название этой горы — Курмаин. Оно переводится как «узкая шея». Современное название Нос-гора получила из-за того, что на её южном окончании один из пластов известняка образует карниз, похожий в профиль на человеческий нос.

Расстояние от Оренбурга — около 140 км, от Орска — около 160 км.
