Кабардино-Балкария. Перевал Актопрак — это кратчайшая дорога от Баксанского ущелья до Чегемского. Некоторые туристы называют ее путем со смотровыми площадками, которых здесь действительно встречается больше, чем где бы то ни было в Кабардино-Балкарии. Название перевала с балкарского языка переводится как «белая глина».
