Flame-faced Tanager (Tangara parzudakii) Tangara Rubicunda, Tangara cara de fuego.
Tangara pequeña e inconfundible con la cara rojo-anaranjado brillante que se vuelve amarillo en la corona y la nuca. También nota el parche negro de las orejas, la espalda negra, las partes inferiores y el parche en el hombro verdosos opalescentes y la rabadilla rojiza. Las aves de la ladera este son rojo brillante en la cara, mientras que las de la ladera oeste son más anaranjadas. Ocurre desde aproximadamente 1,200 hasta 2,500 m, dentro del bosque o en los bordes o claros. Se encuentra en parejas o pequeños grupos dentro de bandadas de especies mixtas, generalmente en el dosel. Visita comederos de frutas.
