Mosquerito de cola corta, uno de los pájaros cantores más pequeños del mundo. Forma y tamaño similares a una pelota de golf. Gorra negruzca, espalda verdosa y partes inferiores blancuzcas. Busca sus lentes blancos. Puede ser muy difícil de encontrar incluso cuando está llamando cerca. A veces está alto en el dosel pero también se puede ver muy bajo. Prefiere bordes de bosques y bosque secundario.
