A Moment of Calm Amidst the Chaos

We had been impatiently driving around a thicket for an hour in our jeeps, amidst the uproar of Langur alarm calls that echoed through the dry Rajasthani forest of Ranthambore. The anticipation was intense as everyone awaited a glimpse of Ridhi, the tigress, and her cubs. Unfortunately, the forest, seemed, to have other plans. But despite all the chaos in the forest, there was a moment of peace when a couple of Sambar Deer enjoyed a moment less than a few hundred meters from the tigress.
