Остров Янкича является полюсом недоступности Курильских островов. Здесь очень суровая природа и добраться сюда очень сложно. Когда-то японцы разводили командорских песцов на этом острове. Затем японцы ушли, а песцы остались. Теперь они - настоящие хозяева острова. С одним из таких хозяев мне посчастливилось повидаться.
