Лесная встреча

In this captivating image by photographer Stukalova Yuliya, titled "Лесная встреча" (Forest Encounter), we witness a dynamic moment in the wild. A Eurasian jay is captured mid-flight, wings spread wide as it launches itself from the top of a moss-covered tree stump. Simultaneously, a curious red squirrel clings to the side of the same stump, seemingly observing or reacting to the bird's sudden movement. The background features soft-focus autumn foliage, enhancing the natural setting and emphasizing the raw energy of this brief but intense interaction between two forest dwellers. This photograph beautifully encapsulates the unpredictable and lively essence of nature in its most authentic form.
