What works: the composition is balanced, with the ladybug leading the eye across the frame. The texture of the moss is nicely rendered, adding depth to the foreground.
A small note: the background could be slightly more distinct — right now, it’s a little too uniform, which makes the subject pop, but at the cost of some environmental context. A touch more variation in the green tones might add a bit more dimension.
