This striking image by photographer Sergey Zlatkov showcases a northern goshawk (Astur gentilis) engaging in its natural bathing routine. The bird stands partially submerged in shallow water, creating dynamic splashes around its body. Its piercing yellow eyes remain focused forward despite the activity, highlighting the predator's alert nature even during vulnerable moments like bathing.
