Basil Alsaidi

My name is Basil Alsaidi, a Yemeni photographer and visual content creator passionate about documenting nature, cultural heritage, traditional architecture, everyday life, documentary stories, and human portraits in Yemen. Through my photography, I aim to reveal the beauty, identity, and untold stories of my homeland, presenting its landscapes, historic cities, local communities, and people to a global audience. I believe photography is more than capturing beautiful scenes; it is a way to preserve cultural memory and create a lasting visual record of places, people, and their lives. My portfolio includes landscape, travel, documentary, portrait, and architectural photography, with a particular focus on Yemen’s unique natural environments, historic heritage, and human stories. My goal is to develop my artistic vision, connect with photographers worldwide, participate in international photography projects, and contribute to the global appreciation and preservation of Yemen’s visual heritage while sharing authentic stories about its people and culture.
