Oman - Oasis of the Gulf

Oman, named as Oasis of the gulf is a land full of beautiful landscape, sand dunes, a thousand kilometer long coastline. The country with its simple, peace loving people ruled by a visionary Sultan for past 50 years have grown manifold and welcomed tourists from all over the world.
A journey across various places of Oman allows me to meet locals, learn their culture, tradition, daily living. This beautiful country offers a variety of landmark monuments and mosques steeped in rich cultural heritage and depicting geometrical symmetry of Islamic architecture and also in trend setting modernity.
Travelling through Muscat and other places has taught me to respect how different our lives can be, but even more the shared commonalities. This travel made me look at each new conversation and experience as a chance to learn something new and carry home a nugget of wisdom or a nuance of Omani culture.
