Cure

The Xiaoxiangling mountains in Sichuan Province,western of china, located in the Liangshan autonomous region at the junction of Mianning County, Yuexi County and Xide county at the Xiaoxiangling mountains, the main peak of 4500 meters, is not yet fully developed tourism land.

With a 44 pounds backpack, my friend and I climbed from 1600 height above sea level to 3940 (where we took the picture) encamp, from 8 am to 6 pm.
 
Due to the gale, we didn’t make fire and cook, instead, as we pitched our tent, we went in to hide. We had already learned the exact location and time where the milky way will be, so all we have to do is to shoot the milky way when it comes out, then mountains on the ground before and after sunrise as the foreground of the picture.
 
The gale was so strong that it blew all night long, on the second morning, I forgot to hang something heavy to my tripod, it got blown down so did my CANON 16-35 F2.8 lens. Then I had to use my friend’s D800/14-24 lens to finish shooting.
 
Finally, I got this photo.
And,i hope this photo can cure my broken heart~ : )
 
Gotta go and fix my lens : (
