Самцы озёрных лягушек зорко охраняют свои места на нерестилище раздувая при этом свои резонаторы. Как только другой "раздутый" самец пересекает границу владения, хозяин издает короткий крик и плывет в сторону пришельца. Разгорается самая настоящая борьба, пока один не опрокинет другого на спину.
