Portrait of a Lady

Naderi Peyman

These photos are tributes to the dutch painter Rogier van der Weyden, who created the immortal "Portrait of A Lady." In these photos, I have tried not only to include the painter’s point of view, but also to illustrate my own standpoint . That is why multiple photos were taken, among them one is very close to the original painting, and the others are my own desired perspectives of a lady. Perhaps this could be considered as a competition between the painter and the photographer, in this competition, the painter had a wider coice of thought on how to demonstrate the lady while the photographer could delineate various and more diverse views of her from different angles.
