Grazing horse on a mountain pasture... Kaimakchalan is a mountain on the border between Greece and the Republic of Macedonia. The word Kaimaktsalan is of Ottoman Turkish origin inspired by its white, snowy peak: kaymakçalan means kaimak beater. Kaimak in Turkish means Cream.
