Горный Алтай, август 2007г. Озеро Дарашколь. В самой середине в озеро вдается мыс, по своим очертаниям очень напоминающий «сапог» Италии. Полуостров представляет собой гранитный массив, покрытый мхом, баданом, эпизодическими кустиками брусники и черники и невысокими кедрами, которые причудливо извиваются в борьбе за жизнь на камнях под натиском стихий. Кедры на столько низкорослы, что можно сорвать спелую шишку с самой верхушки, спокойно дотянувшись рукой.
