The Tre Cime di Lavaredo means "three peaks of Lavaredo" in Italian. It is one of the iconic places in the Dolomites. There is only one of three peaks in the shot (upper right corner). At places like this it is very easy to get lost in the main "wow" subject. I find keeping an eye on the side compositions always beneficial. Once I saw the moon aligning with mountain top, I instantly moved my camera. It came out as a nice symmetry, something that I have not seen before. #dolomites #trecimedilavaredo #italy
