When you #exploreiceland it means not only wonderful waterfalls, majestic mountains and breathtaking coastline. It also means unpleasant Arctic wind, heavy rain and low hanging clouds “hiding” all the island’s beauty. Both these “faces” are unique and offer unforgettable memories. Just like the image you can see…Harsh cliff rocks, ocean waves and #Snæfellsjökull (which is a 700,000-year-old glacier-capped stratovolcano)with moody clouds in the sky. This mountain is a popular tourist destination in #Iceland . One of the reasons is the novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth’ written by Jules Verne. In the book the characters find the entrance to a route that leads to the very centre of the Earth… :D
