Помнить прошлое, чтобы строить будущее, которым мы будем гордиться и любить, а главный строитель здесь – человек: мудрый, сильный, решительный, трудолюбивый. Именно такими качествами обладали кержаки-раскольники, которые пришли на берег тихой лесной речки Керженки более триста лет назад. Они бежали за Волгу от Никоновских новин, от гнета, бесправия и брадобреенья, чтобы остаться в вере отцов и дедов, чтобы молиться двумя перстами и жить в ладу с собой и миром в скитах.
