Носач - эндемик о.Борнео. У одного доминантного самца в гареме от 10 до 30 самок. Самец весит до 22 кг, в два раза больше самок. Едят молодые листья и побеги, почти не едят фрукты, что усложняет содержание в неволе. Популяция постоянно сокращается.
