While I was walking around one of the forest corridors at midnight and looking for some insect species that were harmful to palms and trees, the red palm weevil was next to one of the dates palm trees , So I photographed it .. The palm weevil a rusty red colour Weevil larvae can excavate holes in the trunk of a palm trees up to a metre long thereby weakening and eventually killing the host plant.
