Манаслу (санскр. "Душа гор") — восьмой по высоте восьмитысячник мира. Горный массив Манаслу расположен в непальских Гималаях и состоит из 2 вершин:
1) Манаслу Южная (Кутанг) - 8 156 м
2) Манаслу Северная - 7 157 м
Первое восхождение на Манаслу было совершено 9 мая 1956 года Тосио Иманиси (Япония) и Гьялзен Норбу (шерпа)
