Long-eared owl (Asio otus wilsonianus)
В целом американские ушастые совы более пестрые, чем многие евразийские популяции. Лицевой диск ярко рыжий, с сильно выраженным черноватым ободком и обширной белой каймой вокруг диска. Глаза, как правило, темно-желтые.
