Indian Hog Deer, Kaziranga, Arpan Saha

The Anticipation...

Arpan Saha

English Name - Indian Hog Deer;
Conservation Status - Endangered;
Location - Kaziranga Outskirts, Assam, India;
Description - For her whole life she has seen humans to mainly come into her forest either for poaching wildlife or for cutting down trees. Upon seeing us she was probably trying to figure out whether we have come to hurt her or to chop down the plant, her food. Or, there may be a rare chance that we are a third kind.
Image Taken - During safari in the outskirts for birds, we came across this hog deer, having breakfast. Upon seeing us she stared at us, looking deeply into our souls for a few moments, before slowly vanishing inside the forest.
