Location - Bikaner Outskirts, Rajasthan, India;
Description - A Desert jird curiously observing me from its burrow.
Image Taken - We spotted several desert jirds in the desert moving in the desert. Initially they proved somewhat difficult to shoot as they were vanishing inside one hole and were coming out of another. Soon we understood that there was a large complex tunnel below our feet. After lying still on the sand for an hour (got trampled by a desert hare in the process), one of them decided to come out of a hole very close to me, inspecting me curiously, probably worried about my health.
