Amin Khelghat

Amin Khelghatdoost is a freelance photographer who creates images that transcend the limits of camera.
Born in Rasht, Iran in 1981, studied computer engineering and graduated with a bachelor of science in 2005.
He started photography as a hobby in 2003. To get familiarized with the techniques, he attended some professional photography courses. His career was launched in 2005 with a solo exhibition, named “ From Conflict to Abstraction” at Lahijan University, Iran. Some of the photos of his first exhibition was sent to the Academy of Art University, San Francisco and there, Amin was awarded certificate of honor as the winner of the 2010 Spring show.
In 2011, he was asked as an exclusive event photographer for the Jazzaar Festival in Switzerland. His works were featured in the photo exhibition, including photos of the jazz legends Benny Golson and Buster Williams.
Khelghatdoost defines a distinctive characteristic in his works by mixing the traditional fine art photography with latest digital tools that gives emotionally dramatic lighting and captivating perspectives.
