Ходил несколько часов.
Дело было в пятницу.
Народ гулял в отдельных точках городка и смотрел на меня с удивлением и желанием как-то помочь.
Это было приятно, но я старался избегать народа: у меня были свои задачи.

I agree. Mt-St-Michel, St-Malo, Dinan...nice to visit but often very crowded. Western part is more peaceful and the coasts are beautiful.. I spent many holidays there.

I didn't like MSM. I think that the commercial making part of the project very strongly damaged to feeling of grandness of this place. I didn't want to go there the second time :(
