English Name - Grey Peacock Pheasant;
Location - Dehing Patkai, Assam, India;
Description - A super shy and super beautiful male peacock pheasant out in the open.
Image Taken - I targeted to get a glimpse of this species and spend a week in its search. But even after a week we didn't get a good look at it and only heard its call. I returned home very disheartened. By after a week, suddenly I decided to visit the location in North-East India again, for this one. After numerous leech bites and elephant charges, I finally managed to get a clear shot of this most illusive pheasant in Indian subcontinent!
