Golden Tanager (Tangara arthus) Tángara Dorada, grano de oro, tangara pechicastaña
Tangara pequeña que se encuentra en las estribaciones andinas y la zona subtropical desde Venezuela a Bolivia. Mayormente amarillo dorado brillante con un parche del oído negro, espalda rayada, y alas y cola en su mayoría negras. Hay alguna variación entre poblaciones, las aves más al norte tienen una banda en el pecho y los flancos color castaño. Sexos iguales; los juveniles son amarillo más opaco. Una de las tangaras más comunes en bandadas mixtas de entre 900–2.200 m, en bosque nuboso, bordes y jardines.
