Black-throated Trogon (rogon rufus) Trogón Cabeciverde R
Trogon de vientre amarillo con anillo ocular azul pálido o amarillo y pico amarillo. El macho tiene la cabeza y la espalda verde-azul brillante, en la hembra ambas color marrón. Parte inferior de la cola barrada en blanco y negro con puntas blancas grandes. Se encuentra en áreas boscosas, usualmente perchado inmóvil en el medio del dosel. Presta atención a su canto, más lento y más corto que otros trogons: un puñado de notas silbadas bajas.
