Остров Кильпола -(Финское: Kilpolansaari) — остров в Ладожском озере, площадью 6 Х 8 км. (дословно —кильпи- Щит, ла- ля- окончание от личного имени (место где жил род Кильпи)). Остров известен тем, что на нем были обнаружены поселения древних карел. Является западной оконечностью Ладожских шхер.
