In Search of Light

Graham Earnshaw

At the end of my Kimberley adventure mid last year in northern Western Australia, I took to the air in a little Cessna, with door off, for an incredible sunrise photo shoot along the coastline around Broome. We firstly headed south skirting the shoreline of Roebuck Bay. The morning tide was way out, so a lot of stunning unique patterns and textures were evident in the sandbed and as the morning light struck, the photo opportunities exploded into life. In this imae the morning's first light hits the bay, exploding a small tidal rivulet to life. Sort of takes your breath away at 1000ft up.
