Боги Тхан Беп — боги домашнего очага, их называли также боги Тао или Нук. Они присматривали за дровами, огнем. Вера в них возникла, возможно, не в самой глубокой древности. Обязанности богов домашнего очага и бога земли различны, но народ часто воспринимал их как одно божество.
