Pholque phalangide, it is a typical house spider. This species is characterized by its very long legs which give it the appearance of a reaper (Opiliones). The Pholque phalangide resides in cellars, in the corners of rooms, at the top of windows where it weaves an irregular web. Pholcus phalangioides is known to be harmless to humans and a potential for the medicinal use of their silk has been reported.
