The superb blue fairy wren has such striking blue colours when in mating season. I love how the blue pops in contrast to the green and yellow. This is one of my favourite Australian birds to photograph.

This joey didn\'t stay like this for long before it snuggled back into mum\'s chest. I am always amazed the joeys do not fall, but between their strong claws and mum\'s strong, protective arms they manage to stay put.

This koala and her joey had just woken up. Shortly after this was taken they climbed up to the eat the leaves in the top of the tree. The joey had to hold on tight!
