A monument created for the people who died and served in 1857 revolt for India. The monument is built in 1957 by the people to remember the sacrifice of them. The image tells us that the people of India are still holding the history together by being the base of the monument.

Clicked in an event of Ganpati visarjan festival (Kolhapur), which is also called as visarjan miravnuk. It a see off ceremony of lord ganesha considerably after his stay in peoples homes. Where many people come in different costumes and there is a lot of light show and music for the people.
