Trevor, this shot has a quiet strength. The way the light hits the kids and the fence — it feels honest, not staged. The dust in the air, the sun low, the sheep moving in and out of the haze — it’s all just there, like a moment you happen to see and hold for a second.

I like how the kids stand with their arms up, almost like they’re stretching or waving. It’s not posed — it’s real. And the fence, made of sticks and rope, frames them without feeling heavy. The ground is bare, the sky soft — you don’t need much to say a lot.

One thing I’m curious about — were the kids aware of the camera? Or were they just doing their thing while you waited for the light?
