Bastián Cifuentes Araya A.K.A. PeriodistaFurioso is a social communicator, journalist, photographer and a visual artist based in Chile.
His work focuses on the making of socio documentary, cultural and artistics projects, with emphasis on narration and photographic portrait. Likewise, he has documented the different Chilean social processes through a critical, patrimony, cultural and of \'historial document\' point of view for the current and future generations.
The photographic work he has done has been awarded national and international, where he has stood out for his portrait, social, cultural and contingency works. Along the same lines, he has been awarded in several times at the FOTOPRENSA National Salon of Photography in the portrait reportage, person of the year and press category, among others.
Since 2021, the European photography contest 35Awards has awarded him by the official jury and the popular vote in the reporting, street photography and portraits categories, where he was included in the final year books.
Bastián has published zines and photo books, and has several collaborations on books, photographic expositions, documentaries and TV series.
Also, he is actively working as a photographer on cultural areas and entertainment, he does photography works shops and talks for schools, universities and institutes, and writes on musical, cultural and politics media.
