The T-34/85 first appeared about october 1943, in very limited numbers, and in stronger numbers after summer 1944 and Operation Bagration. (V Bruskin is correct.) I am pleased to see an actual Mark IV next to the T-34, there being very few left in the world, except the non-functional ones in museums. The photo is great and evocative of desperate battle. Good one!
