Yvon Jolivet is a self-taught Quebec Canadian photographer who is known for his abstract, Beaux-Arts and minimalist style of photography. His style of photography is characterized above all by an emotional abstraction and a concentration on forms. It explores themes of transformation, fluidity and metamorphosis, evoking the processes of change and transition in the inner landscapes of the mind.
Jolivet\'s abstract images can thus evoke themes such as transformation, growth, impermanence, and the fragility of life and therefore help us to see the beauty in aspects of life that are often thought of as commonplace or innocuous. His photographic style often invites us to reflect on the processes of change and transition in our own lives.
Through his use of organic motifs, his photographs evoke elements of nature, such as water, clouds, plants and animals, all of which are elements that undergo processes of transformation and transition. Ultimately, his artistic approach influences our perception of life by helping us to see the beauty in the ordinary aspects of life, by inviting us to reflect on the processes of change and transition in our own lives, and by helping to develop a deeper and more contemplative appreciation of the beauty of nature and life.
Since 2016, Yvon Jolivet\'s photographic work has been honored with numerous international awards, including gold, silver and bronze Awards in fine art and abstract. His photographic work has also been presented in several Art exhibitions in different countries (Greece, Italy, Canada, United States, Romania, Spain, England, etc.).
Yvon Jolivet is a professionnal member of RAAV (Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec) and CARFAC (Canadian Artists Representation)
